Ceramic receptacles are well known for their naturally cooling effect. The effect is based on that water particles fill the pores in the clay and gradually evaporates via the ceramic walls. Many colored ceramic receptacles lack this effect, because the pigment is blocking the capillary pores in the clay. This patented innovation by Magisso® lets the water flow naturally in the clay despite of the pigmented outer surface of the bowl.
