HOW MUCH FOOD SHOULD YOUR DOG EAT PER DAY?
There are many factors that affect how much food your dog should eat per day, such as their breed, age, weight or physical activity. For a more exact figure, we recommend that you use the Wild Balance ration calculator. However, to help you get an idea of the ration, it is normal for an adult dog to eat around 2% of its ideal weight in food. For example:
• neutered, sedentary or senior dog = 2%
• medium-activity dog = 2.5%
• high-activity or very nervous adults = 3%
• sporting or working dogs, greyhounds, mini breeds (less than 5kg) = 3-4%
